What exactly is in The Collection?
15 StormX retail packs covering the Cyclone Minnow 3", 4" and 5" and Storm Shad 5" and 7" ranges, with 3 colours per size (see “What’s in the box” above). You get exactly one of each of the 15 packs, in fixed colours, so every StormX size and colour is included: 90 lures in total. Each size has a different baitfish profile and pack quantity.
Cyclone Minnow or Storm Shad: what’s the difference?
The Cyclone Minnow has a paddle tail that creates movement on a steady retrieve or lift-and-drop. The Storm Shad has a forked tail suited to slow retrieves and twitch-and-pause. The Collection gives you both.
What jig head should I use?
Use a 2/0–3/0 hook for the 3" and 4" lures, and a 5/0–7/0 hook for the 5" and 7" lures. Choose the jig head weight to suit the depth and current you’re fishing. See How to rig it above.
Saltwater or freshwater?
Both. StormX is designed for freshwater and saltwater, from river and estuary to offshore. Reviewers have used the 3" in freshwater for trout.
What are they made of, and how durable are they?
StormX lures are made from TPE (thermoplastic elastomer): plastisol-free, phthalate-free and PVC-free, in a floating ElaStormX formula with ProBait scent. Anglers tell us they’ve fished all day on a single lure, landing fish after fish.
Are the lures themselves biodegradable?
No, we don’t claim the lures are biodegradable. They’re made from TPE (thermoplastic elastomer): plastisol-free, phthalate-free and PVC-free. The packaging is plastic-free and certified compostable; follow the disposal instructions on each pack.
When will my order ship and arrive?
Orders are dispatched daily, Monday to Friday, from Auckland, and we email a tracking number once your order is on its way. NZ delivery is overnight to metro areas and 2–3 days to rural addresses. Free NZ shipping on orders over $75, and this bundle qualifies.
Do you ship to Australia and overseas?
Yes. Australian orders ship from NZ for a flat $12.90 (free shipping over $75 applies to NZ orders only). We also ship worldwide, including the USA and Canada; shipping is calculated at checkout, and customs duties and import taxes are the customer’s responsibility.
What’s your returns policy?
Discounted bundles, including The Collection, are final sale and can’t be returned for a change of mind, even if unopened. Damaged, faulty or wrong items reported within 48 hours of delivery are replaced or refunded at no cost.
For full-price items, request a return within 7 days of delivery by emailing info@wiseangler.co.nz with your order number. Items must be unused, unopened and in original packaging; opened soft baits can’t be returned for hygiene reasons unless faulty.
